Q:How long does it take?
A: Tooth Gems take 5 to 10 to place. All Glitter Gaud Tooth Gems are light cured and completely set at the end of the procedure. It is safe to eat and drink right after.
Q:Does it hurt?
A: NO PAIN! Tooth Gems are bonded to the surface of the tooth and do not cause any damage.
Q: How long do Tooth Gems last?
A: Everyone is different and therefore has different habits for that reason. Glitter Gaud offers a 60 day warranty on all our Tooth Gems. Tooth Gems can last anywhere from a month to a year depending on the individual.
Q: Can I Whiten my teeth with a Tooth Gem?
A: Yes you can. Please do not whiten your teeth right before your Tooth Gem appointment! If you whiten within the 2 weeks prior to your Tooth Gem appointment you may not get the same bonding strength.
Q: Should I bush my Tooth Gem?
A: Absolutely! Tooth Gems do not change your dental hygiene routine. Brush regularly and see your dentist regularly for cleanings and maintenance.
Q: How are Tooth Gems removed?
A: Tooth Gems must be removed by a dental professional. A dental instrument is used to chip off the bonding material. If the bonding material is left on the tooth it will slowly wear away from regular brushing.
